does it still slide smoothly? Is it perfectly flat or is it bowed in the middle?

looks like it might be off track a bit

There are only two things I can think of here; 1) The shade is off of the track or 2) the headliner is not attached to the frame around the sunroof.
If the shade is off the track, you should be able to access the shade's 4 mounting points from the top by taking out the glass panel. Just remove the 6 (3 on each side) torx screws (T25 IIRC) that hold the panel to the the track, and then remove 4 phillips head screws holding the shade to the 4 clips. You would have to remove the sunroof panel to do this, otherwise the shade will retract when you open the sunroof. If its the clips in for the sunroof opening frame, just open the sunroof and grasp you hand around the headliner and the sunroof opening to clip them back in. You'd be able to see the headliner is down the in back though, so I'm not sure that's it.

Does it slide back? Does the sunroof open?

Steps to remove the headliner and shade were posted in post #4 (link), but you aren't giving us enough information be able to answer your questions.

So the shade opens and closes and the sunroof opens all the way and everything works great. There is a lip that the headliner needs to go over so it sits flushed

Thanks! It sounds like the headliner isn't clipped to the frame around the sunroof in the back of the sunroof then. Is the other side the same in the back?

If so, there are 5 clips on the back side of the headliner that clips to the black metal frame on the top of the sunroof opening. Open the sunroof all the way (open and then hold the button as if you had to hold it to open the sunroof, it will move back further), locate the metal frame by standing on your door jamb of the open door, from the top (looking into the car through the sunroof) place your palms on the black frame, and your fingers on the headliner and squeeze. The headliner should clip into the black frame.

If the shade is off the track in the back, remove the sunroof panel and you can put the guide back into the track from the top of the car.

Thanks I will give it a go. It is the same on both sides. I did put my hand in between the sunroof and the roof of the car and didn't feel any sort of clips?

The clips I am referring to look like the ones in the ECS link below, and generally will stay attached to the frame or the headliner. You want them attached to the headliner, as its easier to clip them into the frame after, rather than the other way around. In my link from post #4, images 23-24 will give you a good visual of where the clips are, and where that black frame I keep referencing is.
