    C7A6 APR stg2 1/4 runs last night

Nothing special but people are always curious what their cars actually run for times. This was real world, just drive out and run. We both came from work, met up and drove down without any kind of prep other than making sure my oil was topped off.

My car is a plain APR stg2 and was full weight on 93 octane. No intake, filter, exhaust or down pipes. I also had about 80lbs of photo gear in the trunk.

All info on both cars in the video. The pass print outs are at the end of the video.

It's slushbox so just hold the brake, give it a little gas to preload the suspension; then let go of the brake and put your foot to the floor. The engine only revs to like 1400 RPM vs the RS5s ~4000 RPM. None of the ZFs have LC like the DSG cars.

Ya. Was just curious. Did you turn off traction control?

Yes. Dynamic mode, Sport (not manual), traction control off.

Great run for 93 and full weight. It's good to see other C7 3.0T track times. The 100 Oct file, drop in filter and a little less weight (less fuel in the tank, no spare, no camera gear) would easily be a low 12 sec pass.

Thanks guys. I thought it was fairly impressive for the big girl too all things considered.

nsantos, Yeah, that's pretty much what I told my buddy. Some MS109 alone would net some power. Combine that with a little weight savings, (maybe lighter wheel and tire combo vs these 20x9s) and I think she could probably go 12.2 or so. Not bad for what it is

Turned out to be the last Friday of the year. The weather was great and surely a nice DA helped with the times.

I'm hoping mine will get the same times as yours. I find almost no info on the C7 A6/7 as far as dynos and 1/4 mile times.

Yeah. I wanted to offer a nice real world service to the forums as far as info. I planned to have my stg1 and stg2 tunes done on the local dyno but my tuner wasn't available at the time. I plan to add the crank pulley once APR releases it for the C7. At that point, maybe I can get my tuner to revise the tune at the dyno shop for a quick before and after. I'll go back to the strip and see if there were any improvements there eventually.

Great Lakes opens in a couple of weeks (snow should be gone by then). I want to take my APR stage1 A7 there to get some numbers before I go stage2. I am waiting on their dual pulley setup for our cars, so I hope it gets released soon.

You'd think the dual pulley would be released by now but when I spoke with them, it sounded like they plan to release it at the same time as the full UltraCharger kit for the C7 and Q5/SQ5. I'm planning to add the 2nd pulley but not going with the UC right away, if ever.

The new 187mm crank pulley is the same as the s4 s5 as it is for a a7, you can order it up now and get the software update updated to v4. I called last week to see if the crank pulley was available, it takes about a week to get.

The software is not released and therefore the pulley is useless without it. I'll order it once the software is released so I can take full advantage right away. Without the software, I don't know you'd see much, if any, gains.

Sure, for the B8(.5)S4/S5s. Needless to say they go after the biggest slice of the pie first.
