Brembo rotor ; Who tried them ?

Just learnt a few weeks ago that brembo make a Blank rotor for 345mm S4. Rarely do I heard people talking about these. Must be a new offering from Brembo, no ?

I must be one of the few but the OEM setup never made a sound and I can modulate the brake very easy ! So I'm thinking about using OEM pad again.. now it's rotor decision.

    1) Brembo Blank, any review ? are they directional ?

    2) Stoptech slotted ; about 150$/pair more, suppose to be same metallurgy as their BBK kit, so it should hold up and i can always cryo them, if I wish..

or I go 2-piece, which will cost about 400-550$ (apikol or girodisc) more. I tried searching, but I simply CAN'T see ANY fact/evidence that show that LW rotor provide extra handling or quicker acceleration. So I can't seem to justify the added cost of this. I don't care for cooling/fade etc. as I don't do track. Any one who can tell me they swear they saw quicker acceleration/turn-in due to their saving of 5-6lbs per rotor ?

    Cheers !
S4 B8.5 no track, just enjoying spirited driving.

Don't have a B8, but I've been running Centric's high carbon discs (which are blanks) and Posi-Quiet discs, and they are completely silent and give me good braking feel as well. Ran them on my B7 and currently on my allroad, which is a 4100 lb behemoth, and not a single peep.
