Anyone on KW HAS or Springs blow a strut mount yet?

Hey Team,

Curious if anyone has blow a strut mount yet?

I have KW HAS and the electronic damping and I think I blew a strut mount. Common? Anyone replace them with 034's mounts?

I've heard of two folks blowing through the seals on the struts themselves, but not the mounts. What are the symptoms you're experiencing?

There are a couple dips in the road and a longer speed bump that I get a clunk in my right front wheel well.

I did hit a good size pot hole on the 24 last week.

Interested to hear your outcome. How long has yours been lowered? I'm just about to lower mine and I have driver select with electronic damping as well.

Dust cover had busted.
Mechanic removed them and am good to go.

Any next steps? I know it's not a particularly integral component, but it does serve a purpose.

FWIW, I was surprised at how often this happens....a google search yielded some interesting comments.

The boot keeps dust and debris from the strut and the seals. I'd replace the boot, those shocks are pretty expensive (~$1k each) to replace if they get damaged.
