    flutter around 3000RPM

So recently my car has been fluttering at around 3000 rpm and I'm getting a lose of power when it does so. I've been told it's a boost leak and that I'll need to get a GFB DV+ and it should fix he issue (since I'm tuned). I've attached a video. Just want to get a second opinion. Thanks in advance.

    Get a dv+, it's definitely worth it.

DV+ is a nice mod, but the updated DV without the rubber is pretty solid on the B8s.

Why not do a smoke test to figure out where the leak is coming from instead of guessing?

I was thinking about getting that done before, but Idk where to do it. Does any auto shop have a smoker?

^they should...i would call around a few shops and ask, otherwise you may end up throwing parts at the car for no reason.

My car has done the same before, my leak was in the PCV, so that could be a place to check.

Hmm I could check that out. I'll pull it out and check the flapper

Check for oil leaks from the front main cover / front main seal area as well. (Cause lean condition/ affect pcv) Also, on cars that have gotten oil consumption done that have the updated breather, the updated breather goes bad. 2012/2013 cars that share that same breather get the 17F9 Recall to change the diaphragm inside along with the spring. It is significantly better.
