    My Q5’s OEM rims are 8Jx19 ET39 5x112

Which Enkei Raijin 19" rim would fit better with no changes to suspension for 3 season driving?

    35 ET 5x112 19 x 8

    or

    42 ET 5x112 19 x 8.5

    ET35 is a better option.

If you're getting an aftermarket set, why not at least go to 20s? The ride on 20s is fine even here on some brutal NYC roads. I also think you want at least an 8.5" wide wheel. I'd personally go 20x9 et30 which is still pretty conservative.

They don't make the Raijin in 20s. I really like those rims. So go for the smaller ET.

I got DAI r107 wheels (actually a gunmetal new Q7 replica) 20X9 ET 33 with 255/45r20 hankook winter icept for winter and will be putting them on this week-end... My wife actually prefers them to the 20 inch peelers than came on her 2017 S-line competition. So I might end-up having to switch the summer tires onto these wheels next spring.Could be wrong as I am still new to Q5s, but I believe that more than ET 35 would rub...

That style of wheel is made by a lot of different companies. Here's what I was previously running in 20x9 et30 which is a very similar style.

If you're really locked into that particular wheel, the 8.5" may actually be better, because you'll at least be able to run a wider tire. The two sizes you listed have almost an identical amount of poke.

i know you like the style of those wheels, and i do too, but i think you're going to find 19s to look a bit small on the q5. i went from the stock 19" 5-spokes to the oem 20"v-spokes and the look of the car improved dramatically.

Well the other rim I was looking at was BBS CH-R. I guess I could go 20s here, but BBS is 600+ a wheel. Very expensive. I also don't like the chrome lip on the wheel.

Here are the 20s for Ch-R.

    CHR 148 - TIPO 20x9 5-112 25 66.5 $685.00.

The ET=25. Will this be a problem?

    The CB=66.5. Isn't Audi Q5's CB=66.6?

Send @Mops@SupremePower a message about the CH-Rs. They've taken care of at least a couple of sets of BBS wheels for members here and painted those rim protectors. I'm certain he'll get you the best pricing you can find as well.

20x9 et25 will be fine. My wheels are 20x10 et25 and many others run that offset on wider than 9" wheels as well.

So, when are we gonna see pictures of your ride with my old wheels?

ET+25 will not have any poke at 9" or 9.5"
The centerbore is actually 66.56. Some round, while others truncate.

ha, my car is in a perpetual state of dirty. i'd be embarassed to post it on the forum where folks line up wheel caps before snapping a shot! next time it gets a bath, i'll take a couple pics.

Agreed on all points here. OP, if you don't like the silver lip, but don't want to pay to have it painted, you can just remove it.

    I'd love to see the 20x9 flat faced CH-R on a Q.
