    Flashing CEL under load

Just the other day under heavy load my CEL started to flash. Check engine light was on already for both cat's. When I pull codes it shows Random Multiple Misfires. Don't know if this would be ignition related or a clogged cat problem. Car drives fine under 4500rpms, anything over and it stalls and drops to about 2500-3000. Please help!

You think if the mis fires were coming from the ignition side you would also get code for the individual cylinders p301-306. A plugged cat could do this. Not very likely but a red neck way to fix this is take a rubber hammer and beat it to loosen everything up. But you should get a vcds cable and log mis fires. You can see every cylinder individualy.

And when it drops in rpm it's limp mode and the computer is seeing to many misfires and slows itself down.

What's your set up anyway??? That will help the ppl smarter than me on here
