Amplifier test question

Hey everyone so I'm sure this has been covered but I've looked everywhere and haven't found anything. I had to jump start my 09 a4 prestige the other day after coming out to a freaking dead battery and it jumped fine, no problem. until I started to drive it where I discovered my radio was on but no sound... everything looked normal but I can't hear anything so after restarting the car, disconcerting the battery, and checking all my fuses I'm assuming it's a blown stereo amp. Now my assumptions usually wrong and screw me so is there anyway I can test the amp before I buy another? Thanks!!

Before new amp shopping, clear faults with vcds and run fresh scan! After that optical test, it could be MU also!

Well I went ahead and scanned it and it comes back with "local data bus, electrical malfunction in circuit code 02071" aslo how would one hour about an optical test and what is an MU? Sorry for the amateur hour over here haha
