    Two front tires need replaced

I have about 10k on my tires and my front two were slashed.. I don't want to buy 4 tires because I was gonna change my setup in the spring anyways.. So my question is can I replace the front two with used tires around the same tread as the rear? They are the same size and similar load rating but a Goodyear instead of kuhmo.. So does the tread pattern matter or should I be okey? I just need it to last me through the winter

If you have stock wheels try the dealer for used tires, an Audi or vw dealer may be able to help you but they will try the whole liability thing so have a good story to tell them like I'm in a bad spot and my ex slashed my tires or something. Try to match tread depth and speed rating the best you can.

I found 3 pirelli p6 four seasons the guy only charged me $150! They have the same tread depth as my other tires in the rear so they are perfect, and I have a spare now.

And the tire size I needed was a 245/40/18 so I was very lucky to find them
