Shop can't figure out transmission leak!

Any references for shops in San Diego? My B8 transmission is leaking, i took it to Pure Motorsports and they could not find where it is leaking from. I had a transmission oil, gasket and filter change about 6K miles ago. They told me to keep driving it so it could leak more(??) so they could pinpoint the broken part. They think oil is coming from a tranny electronics plug but they're not sure. 🤔🙄

Also on a side note, sometimes the car makes a clunk noise when I engage into reverse gear from D, not from Park.

dont know of any shops in SD

some thoughts:

1) couldve overfilled the fluid when you changed it out...there is a valve that allows for excess to come out, which could be your source
2) Rear Main Seal/diff seal may need to be replaced, if the leak is from either one of those

The guys just roasted me at a facebook group for posting about the same thing I guess I'll have to literally wait and see if there is more leaking.
