2013 S5 Wheels on b8.5 Audi S4

Hi,

Looking to grab a set of wheels from my friend. His 19x8.5 ET32 wheels replacing my 19x8.5 ET43. Are there rubbing? Will they fit? Has anyone done this and had or have issues? Thanks in advance for the input.

I disagree. The wheel width stays the same but the center of the wheel moves 11mm farther outboard, meaning that both the outer and inner rims of the wheel will move outward by the same 11mm.

I ran a set of 19x8.5 et43 wheels with 10mm spacers, making them effectively et33, with Michelin PSS 255/35-19 tires this past summer. Your setup will sit 1mm farther out than this one. The rear passenger side rubbed badly but there is no rubbing on rear driver side, and it looks like the driver side could move out another 1mm without any problem. I might have been able to eliminate the rubbing on the passenger side by having the wheel camber adjusted more negative.


For your reference, here is the aforementioned setup:

Front and rear 19x8.5 net offset et33, Michelin PSS 255/35-19,
no rubbing on driver side rear:


Major rubbing on passenger side rear:





Replaced 10mm spacer with 5mm spacer and rubbing went away but didn't look nearly as good:

Isn't there some info out there about the rear sub frames on some S4's being off-center from the factory? Could be why it rubbed on one side and not the other.

Yes there are quite a few people that have this issue including me.

Me too. Had the subframe alignment adjusted by my tuner, sits perfect now.
