WTT: B8.5 custom painted headlights w/ upgraded HID lenses for your stock headlights

My lease is up and although my plan was to buy the car out of the lease, a personal situation and other considerations are now forcing me to turn it in

Proposed transaction: Straight trade/swap – no money involved on your part.

What you get: B8.5 Custom painted headlights with upgraded clear (dimple-free) ZKW-R HID lenses

What I get: Your B8.5 stock (US-code) headlights

Disclosure: I did the paint job myself. It is not 100% perfect, but you can only notice the imperfections if you get your face in front of the headlights and stare at them. Otherwise, they transform the whole look of the car.

Location: I’m located in lower Fairfield county, CT (Stamford/Greenwich/Norwalk), and looking for a local transaction only. Should take about 15 minutes to swap both pairs of headlights.

For those unfamiliar with the ZKW-R HID lenses: they are dimple-free, which provides you with cleaner light dispersion and cutoff (pictures below).

I’m providing a whole bunch of pictures to show you the different looks you get under different lighting conditions

If only they were not blacked out on the inside I would be interested in trading. Not sure that would look good with my silver paint. Good trade option for someone though!

Why the EFF is any one haggling over this? This is clearly a great deal. Put simply, you give him your lights he gives you a modded light that would cost you a few hundred if you had to pay for it. All you folks need to do is to drive to him and spend 15 mins swapping them. Shit and bring the man some beer while you're at it.

It really depends on how aware they are of them. I'd say most dealers would maybe notice that something is different with the car but wouldn't be able to pinpoint what it is until you point it out to them. My dealer has never mentioned anything to me about them. I don't think they even noticed.

Either that, or with a close enough look (from up close), they'll see that they have been modified due to my not so perfect job.
