    AWE Track w/ Resonated DPs

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I've been running the AWE Track exhaust w/ stock downpipes for a couple years now. I'm looking to upgrade the DPs to either resonated or non-resonated.

I found a few videos of the Track w/ non-res DPs:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_XZ...ature=youtu.be

I couldn't find any videos or reviews of the Track w/ res DPs. Anyone have any videos of this setup?

Do you want louder or softer?

I definitely like it loud. So far I'm leaning towards the non-res setup but I would like to hear the res setup before making a decision.

You can (still) get a set of 102s if you'd like...

Here is a clip of the AWE Track with resonated downpipes B8.5 S5 with the same motor which sounds very similar in comparison.

If you have an AWE Tuning exhaust you are able to purchase smaller or larger tips in either of the finishes you desire.

The piping out of the rear resonators is different between 90mm and 102mm systems, no (so you have to swap the whole rear section and not just the tips)?

I heard that as well that it would require a new y pipe plus tips

Wasn't taking into account res vs. track when I wrote that. I assume what I said holds true for both though, with the track being the cheaper swap.

My apologies, gentlemen -- muscle memory. You can indeed go down in size (i.e. 102 to 90, and swap colors of course) but going up in size would deem problematic due to outlet diameter.

I regrettably retract my statement -- at least the aspect of tone hinting it would be a simple swap. I get so many questions from customers asking if they can purchase new tips to swap sizes and finishes across all the platforms we manufacture for that the B8.5 fun-fact slipped my medulla.

    Please forgive me!

I just received my resonated awe downpipes and track exhaust and will be installing them Tuesday. I will provide videos since I was in the same boat an not able to find many videos myself.
