I recently had a mechanic tell me that my turbo was bad and the whole unit needed to be replaced at the tune of $1,600.00. If I had not just spent $1,600.00 with him to replace the radiator, ac condenser, water pump, and timing belt I would have gone with him. I eventually removed the turbo and when I inspected it the only issue was the actuator, which I was pretty difficult to find other than the Forge after market model for about $180.00. I eventually found a vendor on Ebay and asked them if they had a source for the actuator for my K03 as they were selling only the 1.8T actuator. They were very helpful and sent me images and dimensions of the part they found. So I ordered it and hoped that it was the right one. It turned out to be identical to the one on my turbo and has been working for a few months now with no issues. So if anyone is looking for a replacement wastegate actuator you can purchase it from the link below. I know what everyone says about Chinese parts, but as far as I could tell it was pretty much identical to the stock one except that the turn buckle that came with it was black. Before anyone starts railing on me for the fact that it is from China, I'm not saying this is perfect or identical and equivalent to OEM, but it has been working for me and if it fails it's not going to cause the turbo to blow up, it'll just make the same wastegate flutter that I had before. I used the stock measurements for the the threaded rod so I did not preload it or anything for more PSI. My car is a 2005.5 Audi A4 B7 2.0T Quattro. Hopefully this helps anyone that has a bad wastegate actuator and is looking for a stock replacement.
