    Q7 brakes on an S4/S5

Does anyone know if the Q7 brakes fit on the S4/S5... I have been looking at the RS5 and the Q5 brakes but ECS has a sale on the Q7s now which puts them far cheaper than the RS5 callipers and the same as the Q5 (https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-Q7--3...iper/ES417408/)

After doing some research it looks like they might be a similar size to the RS5 brakes but a 6-pot caliber by Brembo also. They run 350mm / 34mm rotors vs the 365mm / 34mm on the RS5.

Does anyone know how you can find what specification rotors could fit these callipers without any issues?? If they can be used as OEM replacements on our cars, could I use the 2-piece ECS tuning 365mm / 34mm rotors in place of the OEM? Not sure if the diameter is too large or not

I believe that is a Brembo 18Z caliper.

If you search the forum/web there should be a load of info.

    Q7 brakes on an S4/S5

I'm looking to upgrade the brakes on our 2nd car (a mk5 golf gti) to 18z calipers at some point soon.

In the golf world, they typically use Mercedes ML350 350mm discs, with hub rings to fill the gap between the golf hub and the inside of the merc discs. Pads for a 17z caliper apparently sweep the merc disc better than the 18z pads.

Is that an option on the S4?

People have also used the R32 345mm disc; but it leaves 5mm of pad overlap, so not ideal.

Do it. Had 17zs on my MK5 GTI, braking was incredible.
