The time has come to list this thing up for sale. I have become content with the build and have reached the goals I have had planned for it. With that said. It does not mean the car is anywhere near tapped out.
Yea sure. You’ll be buying a turn-key 10 second street car. That isn’t saying you won’t be able to push it farther and set/achieve your goals for it. It only means you have a proven starting point.
I just want to reiterate this car can be MUCH faster on the current turbo/engine. This car goes mid/low 10s on STOCK CAMS/no VVT and with somewhat of a safe tune. The ONLY reason it didn’t go 9s was because the clutch that is currently in it is a bit outgunned by the race gas tune. It will go 9s just as easy as it goes 10s currently. All it needs is a more capable clutch.
Here’s the history on the car (my ownership)
-Bought the car in 07 as an AWE Stg 3 with 60k miles. Drove it for a couple years. Did a few things. Nothing crazy.
-roughly 2010 I decided to go pretty crazy on it with a fully built 3.0L and twin GT28rs setup. ALSO at this time the body was completely stripped down. Any corrosion/damage (very very minimal) was fixed and the fenders were pulled about an inch. All professionally done by one of the best body shops in the Midwest. It also got a full sport package interior.
-I didn’t enjoy the 3.0L and ASP GT28 kit as the car was nearly impossible to maintain/work on. I found myself pulling the engine constantly and it turned into a chore more than a hobby.
-A couple years of that I decided to part it out and sell the shell. Ended up selling the engine/turbo kit and was on the fence about selling the car. After a few months of sitting on it I decided to do the current build. IM GLAD I DID.

Body/interior
-“semi widebody” Fenders and quarters pulled and reshaped. About an inch wider than stock
-Completely repainted. Professionally. Nogaro blue with a black roof
-Euro trunk
-interior is a sport package interior 8/10 Seats are near perfect
-Door panels have custom 6.5 inch speaker pods. Speakers not included.
-E Code(real) headlights. Need tabs.
-Aerocatch hood pins(non locking) with reinforcement plates
-Custom VRT trunk badge.
Electronics
-VEMS Standalone with all the options. Knock sensing. 3 triggers. 4bar ETC.
-Pump gas tune ~620WHP and C16 tune 806whp
-I-Shift Sequential Shift light
There ARE things I am missing. This is the bulk of it.
The car has some things missing/issues It is not a show car anymore. It is not something you’d want to daily drive as it sits. But it is fast. It runs awesome. And it has been reliable. It is an amazing base for someone who wants a FAST street car. With a little work it can definitely get back to that daily driver or show car status. For me it isn’t about that anymore. My priorities as of the past few years have been going fast and that’s it. IF you are seriously interested, I will be 100% transparent about it.
I do not NEED to sell this car. I wouldn’t mind slapping a clutch in it and going 9s myself. So I’m in no hurry to give you the car for next to nothing. I could EASILY part the car out for roughly 15,000 and be on my merry way. Here’s an opportunity to buy one of the fastest B5 chassis street cars out there and still have the chance to make it your own.
