    How High is DSG S4 mileage...post em up

    I am at 93xxx, Previous records show no issues and I havent had any issues thus far.

    I want to see some over 100k without issue. I'm currently in a S5 and think I'll eventually trade it in for a S4 as the 4 door will be welcome among other things. I was looking at 2013's in my area at about the 30-35k-ish. But all the CPO's around me are premium plus with only the 18" regular wheels. But without a warranty with a DSG could be playing Russian roulette.

    Almost everyone changes the wheels and the 19" are cheap, so that shouldn't be the deal breaker.

    I'm at only 65k in my 2013. No issues

    I know I just would like the peelers for winter wheels. I think they look cool oddly. But that could change after I've owned them.

    18" wheels seem small for the car although I know the S4 doesn't have larger wheel wells like my S5 has to fill. I'm running 20x10 vorsteiner vff-103's which fit my S5 perfect. I'd probably get the same wheels for my S4 in 19".

    I'm at 206 000 km so arround 129 000 miles only issue was the t-stat at 110 000 miles

    69k had mechatronics and drive position sensor replaced under good will at 68.5k

    The 2013+ DSG doesn't seem to have issues, to my understanding. Yeah the mechatronic could fail but seems like they almost never happens.

    I "think" i am making myself holdout for a 2013. I have been looking and finding some CPO's near me just not the color or options i want yet. I will be patient, until that time comes i still have my S5 to enjoy :). Really the same car inside haha. There is a nice ibis white near me with 48k, but its a 2012 non CPO. It does have the sport diff and the drive select though

    2011 with 56k. DSG wiring harness replaced at about 35k, on the absolute last day of warranty, while tuned with Stasis/Revo. To be fair, the tune was previously installed as I waited at same dealer, drinking their coffee. They have been very supportive. Not that one is related to the other, just sayin'.

    2010 78k, I have issues but the car is still driveable, hoping the fluid/filter change helps.
    2010 S4, DSG, too many random parts. 2004 Mazda RX-8, was highly modified then went back to stock.

    going in for 75k service next week.

    2010 with 71k miles and no outright issues, though I do notice that the very first 1-2 shift after cold startup can sometimes be very abrupt and jolting. That's after letting the car idle down on a cold start, then driving out of my garage first thing in the morning, maybe 1 out of every ten times.

    Oddly enough it only seems to happen after the car has sat all night.

    Do these services show up on the car fax? I've seen trans fluid change on some and just 35k service on others. There's a really nice 2011 prestige with 48k near me. But without it being CPO worries me with the DSG.

    But at the same time the trans failure could come after 100k leaving the warranty worthless lol.

    In my experience, sometimes yes and sometimes no, but if it shows a 35k mile (and then 75k mile) service then it was done as its a part of those intervals.

    I get the exact same thing. I noticed if I leave at a very slow speed it is more pronounced and if I leave a bit fast sometimes it does not happen.

    Mine will hesitate going into reverse for a second or two after it sits cold for several days.

    10 w/143k. I bought it high mileage but no issues at all so far, was one owner car who was religious about maintenance.

    Planning on dual pulley and tunes after next DSG service/more money's

    2010 dsg with 71k miles. Kept it stock for 57k miles.

    Mech unit failed at 57.5k. Replaced it, went apr stage 2 with no issues on the stock TCU tune till 70k.

    Now GIAC ecu+TCU from 70-71xxx k, and still performing perfectly.


    Dsg service performed at 35k and had it serviced again when the mech unit was replaced.

    It sure doesnt! But you can ask your SA for the service records, sometimes they share everything sometimes they only show you warranty work.

    81,000 miles
    Had the 35 and 75K DSG service.
    Had the mech unit replaced at the 75K mile service because of issues when in traffic for more than 10 minutes, the downshift to 1st gear was really rough.
    The joys of living in the DC/MD region
    Covered by extended warranty
    Had the DSG software updated.
    Runs great and so far no more issues.

    I put it in dynamic after a cold startup. This means the tranny will shift less, and I manage the throttle to make sure I don't go above 3kish RPM.
