Is a warranty worth it?

Wondering if $1500 is worth spending on a warranty that covers for 3Y/36K most engine parts, drive axle assembly, seals/gaskets, and some electrical componentry and transmission parts (other than clutch/flywheel). The car has about 100K miles. Thanks for any input!

I think we need more information but for 1500, I would say yes. Is there a deductible? Have you looked at the reviews on the company?

Find out what shops you are aloud to take it to. Some of those warrantys limit you to sub par shops

I always get warranty for my cars, just make sure which company that insurance is coming from, it seems too cheap for 100k miles only 1500$!
Usually is about 3 or 4$k for that many miles

It's Route 66. Thanks all for the input! Probably worth the investment. No deductible, flexible shop options; seems not too bad.

bought my RS with 40k on it... its got 120 now..
I drive her hard, and the only thing that I have had to do is clutch and the breaks (which wouldnt be covered anywise I assume) outside of regular tune-ups!
