adaptive headlight ballast? / dipped headlight

so my right head light is giving me the dreaded dipped headlight warning. i changed the bulb for process of elimination, and it wont stay on for longer than 30 seconds. I know i could send them to whatever his name is, but shipping and all that, plus i dont have an extra headlight, and cant afford to just have it sit in the meantime.

anyone local want to try and help me out? I'll pay you of course. Any advice for next steps is appreciated as well.

What car? Sounds like you need to scan with VCDS to check the fault codes.

Was going through same nonsense recently. It's a very easy fix. There's a headlight sensor on the drivers side front and rear wheel. Probably un plugged or broken. Super easy fix. PM me if you're still having the issue.
