    Dual pulley, CW 7-1, 4 gal e85 on full tank =

    Car is getting fast, need to log to see how safe but did a 2nd through top of 5th pull on private test strip and picked up 5mph over same pull with no e85 and CW set at 3-1

    What tune is on the car if any?

    Are you throwing any DTCs? The car will throw soft codes if the CW is slightly too high.

    CW peepz dont care about Soft Codes! They just crank it up based on butt dyno!

    Wonder if the new TB will allow me to crank it up a notch

    It's a custom tune by Malone tuning. No codes so far.

    I am not sure what mods you have but here is how I would setup the CW:

    Start at 3-1 and log a pass.

    Check to make sure the bypass is staying closed.

    If it is not, increase it by one and log another pass.

    Repeat this process until the bypass is staying mostly closed.

    From here I would look at other values to make sure it is safe

    The goal is to have the lowest settings that keep the bypass closed.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    You won't see the soft codes pull up on the dash.

    Only time my car ever threw an actual CEL from the CW was when I was racing a Maserati up hill on the highway...

    you really shouldn't have to run such an aggressive setting IMHO. I agree, log, normally even a 3-1 or 4-1 setting should suffice while maintaining smoother DSG shifts (assuming you have one).

    Yea I know Loe but I have gone up with no issues so I am just assuming the custom tune must have something to do with it, maybe it has bypass wide open but the car made 415whp with single pulley so it seems like it would be holding them closed somewhat. I need to log, I know, just lazy since I haven't had any code at this point. Its a manual trans btw

    It was on the car when I bought it but with past cars its a key ingredient when tracking the car or pushing the limits in the fueling department so I don't think it will hurt on this car as I begin to push it.
