    RS7 OEM Wheel/Tire weight

    Just changed from summer to my winter setup and christ those oem rims are heavy. One of these days i'm going to pull something getting them stored up in my garage.

    Summer - OEM rims/rubber


    Winter - hartmann 20" with dunlops wintersport 3D. Much lighter than oem 21".



    Does anyone know how much the summer combo weighs? I don't have a scale at home. I swear, i'm going to order a new summer setup this winter and hopefully save some weight and improve performance/looks.

    According to this post in this thread, each Peeler-style wheel rim (19" x 8.5" size) weighs in at 28.5 lbs. Your 21-inch Peeler wheels will weigh a bit more. The next poster weighs the tire/wheel combo and it came out as 53 lbs each. Your 21-inch summer wheel combo will weigh more than that.

    Follow-up: This guy weighed his 21-inch OEM RS7 tire/wheel combo . The result is 68 lbs. per combo.

    Winters look good. Out of curiosity did you notice what size the OEM 21's are as in rim width and ET? I believe they are 9.5Jx21? But note sure on offset.

    According to this Audi/VW wheel website, the 21" wheels are 9 x 21, ET35 (offset). The info on the webpage is for the21" rotor-style wheels but the specs should be the same for the 21" Peeler-style.
    Current: 2016 S5 in Sepang Blue with Technik Package.

    That's consistent with my result. Stock S8 21X9 rim with no tire weighed 35 lbs. New tires (PSS 285/35/21) weighed 29 lbs each unmounted.

    I've weighed them. The stock tire is 24lbs, stock rim 44lbs.
