    2017 S3 Daytona Gray - 1st Audi/turbo

Coming from a few generations of Acura's. All cars are still running and were passed down to my family.

    1992 Acura GSR - White
    2000 Acura GSR - White
2006 Acura TSX - Carbon Gray
    2008 Acura TL Type S - White

Took a quick picture coming into work before parking gets full.

Impressions so far from owning it for 2 days:
Nice comfortable ride and nice power.
Still getting used to the gas peddle being stiff compared to the Acura's.
Don't like you have to manually disable the Auto Engine Stop every time the car is started up. This is the button with an "A" and refresh icon.
Seats aren't powered and no memory.

Nice ride. Any more pics from different angles?

I believe all 2017 modesl (regardless of brand) will not memorize the user's preference for automatic start-stop (i.e. if you want to disable automatic start-stop, you need to do it everytime you start the car). It is due to emission regulations.
Yea, the SS seats are manual...I prefer the regular sport seats just because of that.

Find a friend with a Vagcom and you can probably code the car to not start off in eco mode

Some more daytime photos would be great. My 2017 Daytona S3 is days away from delivery now.

I believe driving in sport mode disables auto engine stop.

Regular seats are powered and apparently more comfortable. No seat memory though which is baffling.

Only picture taken for now since the weekend was stormy. When I'm done for the day in the office I'll take more shots.

I've driven in sport mode and the auto engine stop stays on.

For the break-in period? What mode should I drive in for proper break-in?

OBDeleven or vcds should be able to deactivate the S/S, 2016 and lower OBD11 had a quick app to even do it.

Thanks for the info, still new to the Audi scene. This is a start, so I'll be doing some research.

Highly recommend the obd11! Very inexpensive and can do 99% of what people typically buy vids for..

    Great, thanks.

Looks like there is no Tire monitor just a warning if the tires are getting low on air?

Still haven't found the mileage odometer on the virtual console.
