I think I have the fastest stage 1 CW time (I may be mistaken) with zero other mods. I ran a [email protected] with a 60' time of 1.796 in a 2013 S4 with a DSG, no weight reduction on the 19" Peelers with the factory Conti tires. The DA was 467' when I made that pass. I don't have the exact slips handy for my stock runs but they were [email protected] with a 1.8x 60' and a DA of ~650'. Needless to say, the CW definitely works!!!

[email protected] with the stock SC pulley according to Loe's 1/4-mile list. [email protected] with a smaller SC pulley according to AR's 1/4-mile list.

According to Apr list, bhvrdr with a great DA of -66 did [email protected] with chipwerke s, but the time slip don't match that time so?? Mistake?

My post should have had Mike's trap as 113.01 (bad iPad typing). Looks legit to me:

What is the 1/4 mile record with chipwerke

Damn those are quick times! I managed 12.2 with chipwerke (old version with whatever setting it comes with) and cts intake. Stock all season tires. I can post slips. My mph wasn't that high though. Ranged from 110-111. Then again I did nothing special. Just go to track and run it. It was pretty consistent. Back to back to back hot laps were 12.2, 12.3, 12.3. Consistent 12.8 without it. Can take pics of the slips if anyone wants. It was quicker than I expected. Full weight, didn't take out anything and still have stuff I drive around with in it lol

The APR 1/4 mile database is a bit hard to read. The top table only asks what programming was run, not about a pulley. The bottom table is where you list mods like a pulley. I was running the stage 1 box when I ran the 12.1 but I had a smaller pulley on.

    My times:

    Stock
    DA: +1367
    60: 1.922
    1/4: 13.308
    trap: 102.21

    CW Only
    DA: +1340ft
    60: 1.875
    1/4: 12.660
    trap: 109.56

    CW Stage 1 with Pulley
    DA: +1461ft
    60: 1.840
    1/4: 12.421
    Trap: 111.16

Those are all very similar conditions so give you a good idea of delta. Now to give you an idea how DA can have an affect. Here was a run in much better conditions:

    CW Stage 2 w pulley
    DA: -66ft
    60: 1.774
    1/4: 12.128
    Trap: 113.010

Now compared to Unitronic Stage 2 in REALLY good conditions:

    Unitronic Stage 2
    DA: -625ft
    60: 1.713
    1/4: 11.884
    Trap: 114.260

This is all on pure 93 octane. The CW stage 2 map has a little left in it as it does bleed boost a little bit up top only in nice cool temps. I didnt know that when I went to the track with it because I had done the testing in warmer conditions when it kept the BPV closed fully. If anyone cared to they could work with Murat to get an even more aggressive map.

Its a different map loaded on the piggy. It is more aggressive so better with the pulley to keep the bpv closed more.

If you ran 13 flat at over 100mph in a stock is300, that would be...um... an anomaly.

Thanks for that info. So the chipwerke itself has a different map. Not just an added pulley. Cool

My car ran 12.8 with chipwerke unplugged but I do have an intake so not stock but I don't think it adds much power with just the chipwerke. Also I'm sure the DA was pretty good that day. Can do better I think

I will take pics of the slips and upload when I get some time

yeah right on that makes sense. All my ~ +1400DA runs were made in roughly 85 to 95 degree weather id guess. You'd probably be safe subtracting .2 in ET and adding 1.5mph in trap or so to mimic what my car would have run in DEC, JAN, FEB at the same track. The lower DA timeslips I have pretty much bear that out. PBIR can be a very fast track (its at sea level) but only during the right months. It is a miserable track in the summer.

So my intention at the track day was to quantify how much difference the chipwerke made. So I played around with the car a bit to try to get a consistent launch which i did. First pass was [email protected] (highest trap). I didn't ice the car down or remove anything. Just run it as is like on the street. So I unplugged it and did 3 hot laps as quickly as I could without cool down with it unplugged. Then let it sit for a bit with good open and repeat but with it plugged in. For the price of say it's a great mod. Looks like it's the record on 93. Might take it back out and actually get more aggressive with the launch and try to bring down the et. My goal was consistency here to find the gains with chipwerke. Well the proof is in the pudding. Here are the slips

    Stock

    Chipwerke

I should probably start a different thread with a summary

Very impressive, indeed. Y'all are killing me. I would love to install a Chipwerke's upgrade but I fret the warranty issue. Yes I know that it doesn't create a history trail but there is that nabbing thing in the back of my head... Still, it might just happen.

I do. I still may pick up a CPO S4 as a track toy. I didnt want to do to much to my 2015 bc it was brand new. I have a long distance cruiser now and a fun project car though taking up my time. The SS is around 600hp right now and there are plenty of easy ways to add power to the 800hp level but the car is already all over the place on the streets with 305s in the back. I honestly think i'm going to just run R888 on the street to try and get the power down. The S4 ran as good of ET in the 1/4 as my SS at 600hp... traction. I do miss that. Audis are just such easy cars to drive fast.

Yeah, I was seeing very consistent results with the CW as well. I had three slips all within a few thousandths of each other. These cars can really be fun at the strip. I guess this puts to sleep the couple people saying my times were somehow anomalies because PBIR, lol. Most sea level tracks can be fast given good conditions. Nice slips. You going to put a pulley on?

Put drag radials on it. Problem solved and so much more fun! My Benz is also spin city on street tires but with some drag radials 9.6@146. Good times. Not doing pulley. This is my daily. 2015 S5 I got two years ago.
