get a rs4 clutch. had one with an awe lwfw for 4 years being stage 2 for the last 1.5. replaced it with a new one when i recently went stage 3. the clutch i pulled out looked brand new. after breaking in the new one it's holding my stage 3 power without any issues. feels like a stock clutch. and they are pretty cheap. $450 from europaparts.

People have beat on them for years. Most get away with it, some didnt.

Look into the b7rs4 setups also, way cheaper than a b5rs4.
There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

i did about 500ish. accidentally made it slip a few times before it would hold the power. oops. launched it a couple time when it was stage 2. i don't plan on launching the car very often and i also wanted something i could drive in traffic as this is my daily. if you want to launch all the time i'd assume you'll need something more track oriented. but maybe someone who has launched an rs4 clutch a lot will say otherwise!

Depends mostly on the disk. but how flat and smooth the pp/fw are affect it also.

Ceramic, like the fx400, is like putting a grinder in there and pretty much doesnt need a break in. Ceramic is terrible to drive and doesnt last long imo. It is damn near indestructible though.

Oem doesnt wear as quickly so needs a longer break in, Id say a few hundred miles should be good.

Kevlar doesnt really wear at all and takes quite a while to burnish itself and polish the fw/pp. Iirc, many say like 500-1000mi.

Id say stick with the oem disk if stg2 and not launching. Driving hard is fine.
If youre going to be beating on it and launching, antilag, etc, ceramic is prob what you want.
