Stock S4 clutch and RS4 clutch upgrade, what can they hold?

I have a b5 that a4 that I am going bat and I need a clutch for the extra oomph. I am wondering how much the stock S4 clutch can handle and how much the rs4 clutch can handle. I am wanting something with oem reliability so these may be the best options if they can take what I plan on generating.

    Thanks

i just finished my stage 3 s4 build and i used an rs4 clutch with a awetuning lwfw. as for drivability and reliability, my s4 had that setup for 4 years prior to going stage 3 and i thought it was the stock clutch. I had no idea it was the rs4 one. after going stage three it has been holding the power without any issues. (k04s, fmic, 550cc, bosch 040) im on my base 91 tune but id suspect i'm at around 350whp? give or take a little. go with the rs4 clutch. it holds stage 3 s4 power no problem. it has no issues with daily driving in say traffic either. feels like a stock clutch

you can get it from ecs tuning. comes as a kit with bolts and an alignment tool. or you can get it where i did from europa parts. here's the link https://www.europaparts.com/clutch-k...bhUhoCqb3w_wcB

Do you still need the conversion flywheel these days for the 1.8t to run the S4 and RS4 clutch, since the OEM flywheel diameters between the S4 and A4 are different right? I haven't been in the 1.8t scene in a while now so I am not as familiar as what swaps over, or what people are using these days that might bridge the gap

    Like this??

What are your power goals with your BAT setup? if it were me and the only options on the table were S4 or RS4, i would go RS4 as it has more headroom without sacrificing any real daily drivability. Then again you said you wanted reliability, so I am assuming that means street friendly as well? The power level and how it will be used also dictate what makes for a "good fit"
