1.8t B1S1 O2 sensor wiring. OEM or universal and wire it up?

Just curious, I have a spare Bosch sensor I bought for my mercedes, different part number but same threads and wire count. Never wired up an o2 sensor before, just plug and play. Are o2 sensors different? Or are they all the same actually sensor with different wires and threads?

Id hate to hack up my brand new mercedes OEM sensor to find out they kick out different readings.

    Thanks guys!

A place between here and there

They are not all interchangeable. Some are (ie just cable lengths differ), but some are not. You need to find out if specs for them match. It can be voltage and resistance specs for example. But just because they have the same amount of wires does not mean they are interchangeable.
I hate it when my car acts like a little bitch, treating me like a bitch
