Rough start

I have an 2008 Audi S5. I had the engine replaced and now when I put gas in my car I have to push the gas pedal to the floor in order for the car to start. I also get an EPC light that comes and goes. Where do I start checking for issues.

You're running 91-95 octane?

My car will do that from time to time if I get cheaper gas. I try to run Wawa, Shell or Sunoco premium.

Also, check plugs. Worth running premium plugs and changing them often.

If its hard to start after fueling the issue is purge valve that directs fuel vapors from tank to intake manifold
