    Vent Removal Help

Anyone know how this rear vent comes out?

I think it is just held in place with tension clips but before I go breaking something I want to make sure there isn't anything I need to disconnect or remove first. Thanks for any help.

Yes it is just clips behind. Get a plastic removal tool and slip behind the aluminum trim. Probably one on each side. They are a little tough but it will pop out.

Thanks. Do you know if they are on the sides or bottom where specifically?

Here's a eBay listing of the console with no vent. You might see from the pictures where the clips attach.

I just did it. You need to put a hook tool inside the vent and pull one side. The factory manual shows a special tool, but any hook tool will work.

If I get a chance I'll take a picture later today.

Thanks Scott! I actually messed with it for a while yesterday and finally got it out. I really appreciate you following up
