Vacuum Pump Bolt - Part Number?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I ordered a new vacuum pump today as mine is leaking, was feeling around to get an idea of where all the mounting bolts are and while the top 2 are easy enough to spot. The bottom one is apparently missing, kind of pissing me off (long story) so now I need to also order a new bolt.

I would just try to edit the order of the pump, but it has already shipped.

You can take one off and see what you have. If you have a threadchecker, you can order a screw from McMaster-Carr.

It's an M6 diameter and 22mm long. I have no idea about the thread pitch but it's probably 1.0mm. Part number is N10196303

I would NOT get the same bolt . that thing is a pain in the ass .. just get a standard yellow zinc bolt with the above specs, don't forget you are holding a grounding bracket. Don't over torque as you can strip out the timing cover easily. Mine is hanging on by lock tight and a couple of threads.

Thanks all, new pump should be here today. The odd thing is I have not noticed any more oil leaking since wiping it off, half wonder if when the coolant flange was replaced some leaked out and was not cleaned then (I had a shop change the flange, was not prepared to deal with that headache). Might keep an eye on it for the next couple days, although I have no plans to drive anywhere, and if it is not leaking return the new pump, if it is leaking will swap it out.

DO not think this is the bolt. The bolt has the same M6 diameter and pitch, but has a much larger cap (for holding grounding wire bracket). Sorry, I do not know PN. It is most difficult to get out - after breaking it loose, b/c bracket, could not get it out hand, had to wrench it out in tight space.
