The Black Pearl // SQ5 on 22" HRE Classic 300 // TAG Motorsports
The SQ5 has become an increasingly popular platform for us here at TAG. There is no question as to why given it's incredible versatility. A Client had seen one of our prior SQ5 builds and had fallen in love. However, he wanted to put his own twist on the initial build, so that is exactly what we did.
Beginning with the wheel set by our friends over at HRE, we went with a Satin Black Classic 300 in 22" The mesh design just works so well with the SQ5. A 265/35/22 Pirelli Scorpion tire was utilized to get the power to the road. Peeking out from behind that massive wheel, and to break up some of the black, we added a nice Brembo Red touch to the OEM calipers. We offer this service here in house, weather your car is here, or you simply ship us your calipers.
To finalize the overall esthetic goal of this car, we installed a set of KW Street Comfort Coilovers. This gave the car the exact stance that the client preferred, all while keeping the ride perfectly in tact. To keep the alignment numbers in spec, we also installed a set of SPC Adjustable Control arms. And to add the icing to the cake, a full paint correction, C-Quartz finest coating, and a polish were all performed by our friends at Elite Finish Detail here in San Diego.
Needless to say, this car came out absolutely beautiful. Such a subtle, but absolutely menacing transformation. What do you all think?
