How to show your engine code in the gauge cluster

    Tech showed me this yesterday

    1) Turn on ignition but do not start car
    2) Press and hold the trip odometer reset button for about 10 seconds
    3) Trip odometer will initially reset to zero but then engine code will show up where total mileage is normally displayed and previous trip odometer setting will return
    4) Release the button and total mileage will show again

The tech says this works with most, but not all C7 cars.
