    :: ECS Tuning :: No Holes License Plate Bracket Kit | B9 A4 2.0T

    Why would you drill holes into your perfectly good front grille?

    Avoid drilling holes by using a tow hook mounted plate bracket from GMG! The No Holes License Plate Bracket does not require you to drill into your bodywork.

    Instead, it uses a custom-machined stud that screws into the tow hook receptacle.
    Simply add or remove your license plate without ever damaging your car.

    Don't Screw It Up - Screw It In.

    The b9 have advanced assistance package. Will the plate holder block sensors etc and make the assistance package misfunction?

    As far as we know it should not block any sensors for vehicles with advance driver assist. But if any issue does arise that would effect that we will allow you to return it.

    Not completely sure I understand this product, don't the vast majority of A4s have the factory plate mounting? The rectangular block you have covered with the plastic snap-in in your photo? I can't seem to find any A4 for sale without factory plate mounting even in states that don't require a front plate. Is this for custom orders or people who have ordered a grill without the factory mounting? Just seems kinda weird since the factory mounting is easily blocked off with the snap-in like in your photos when you don't want your front plate on.

    Its for people who want a cleaner looking front end. Yes the B9 has a removable trim cover that can be installed. But many feel it looks tacky mounted in the center of the grille. This product gives you another option. And it's super easy to remove/install. It might not be for everyone but it definitely expands your options as far as plat mounting.

    Did you get it? I'm wondering the same thing, but I think I will go for it.

    I did read about similar products triggering the front parking sensors (not the DAP sensors). Someone even tried installing euro plate holders in the stock location and that triggered it too.

    Yeah, I meant the front parking sensors. However, I don't know if it's just a coincidence or not but as I drive it more, I feel like the sensors are adapting or something because it's becoming less sensitive, but I mean it's only 3 days so far.

    I intend to run mine with no front plate. This would help dealing with the fixit ticket and easy removal post inspection. I'm intrigued. I wish the price point was a touch better for temporary use, but still a good buy.
