2002 audi s4 anybody knows if APR when they do tune on a ECU do they remove the immobilizer for the car trying to purchase a ECU with a stage 2 tune on it but not sure if it's going to work because of the immobilizer it's coming from a 2002 vehicle and going into a 2002 vehicle

2002 does have an immobilizer I had a key cut and it won't start the car because it needs to be program

Yes it does I have a 2002 Audi S4 nogaro blue with sports package 6 Speed and I just called the dealer and they said they have to program the key the guy at the counter Audi Audi dealer said the same thing they didn't have any mobilizer on the B5 but then when he run the VIN what to bring the car in to be program with the key

I'm pretty sure all 2002 s4 have an immobilizer I know 2001 and 2000. I have had these and they don't have it

Yes, it needs to be programmed in order to get the lock/unlock buttons to work.
That is not the same as an immobilizer.

No I'm not talking about the remote I got a single key without the remote it won't start the vehicle and then when I use the other key the vehicle starts right up
