Did the stupid thing of having the car die on me as I was approaching the gas station to fill up.
Now i feel like it's not as spritely and my MPG's appear lower on my morning commute. I'm 99.9% certain it's just in my head, and due to morning temps having just dropped to freezing, and possibly even that gas may have been switched to a winter blend.
Curious to hear others' perspectives..are these cars that sensitive to hitting the bottom of the fuel tank or is this likely just my imagination/due to unrelated factors? I always use Shell 93.

Should just be your imagination. Any damage that could be done to the in-tank pump would be not cause symptoms like that

thx, i'll have to ask my dealer to check for that on next visit.. I'm surprised the fuel filters don't require replacement.
