New TT owner questions -- Vag com and related (My 7th audi , first tt)

Hi Everyone,

Just got a TT quattro Stronic 2013 for my wife in exchange for my b8.5 A4. It has the base Instrument (no Pseudo MMI/NAV) Sline package with fine leather seats.
Of course the first thing i did is try to tweak things and came up with 3 issues i need help with:

1. Gear display in DIS -- Is it for real that on the S tronic tranny you cant do this because they disabled it in Flash ? Can someone please confirm, as i have seen a number of threads, but have a hard time believing they would be that stupid. It always was a DIS/Instrument cluster setting in the B8/Q5/S5
2. Passenger mirror tilt on reverse - The 52 passenger door module in Vagcom has a old style coding where you have to add numbers for features to code it, and there doesnt seem to be anything about this feature. Any insight ?
3 In DIS menu, there is a section Display, under which only one setting is available and is currently checked. It can be unchecked, but i dont get what it does and isnt mentioned in the manual or anywhere. It says Dials and is checked.

If anyone has any info it would be much appreciated.

PS It seems the electronic modules are much more rudimentary on TT so there seems to be less convenience coding possible in general. Where is the best comprehensive list online for this ?

Also would like to know of the mirror tilt. But not sure if its possible. On my old a4 you needed to have memory seats in order for it to work.

From my research, you are dead on. You need memory seats for this, which I dont think North America got (could just be USA). Its a feature our TT's will never have...
