    I see a lot of posts for the S6/S7/RS7 platform, but I am just curious if anyone has taken their stock car to the strip and gotten anywhere near what Car and Driver test results were for the 16 A6 3.0T

    C/D TEST RESULTS:

    Zero to 60 mph: 4.6 sec
    Zero to 100 mph: 11.8 sec
    Zero to 120 mph: 18.0 sec
    Rolling start, 5-60 mph: 5.7 sec
    Top gear, 30-50 mph: 2.6 sec
    Top gear, 50-70 mph: 3.4 sec
    Standing ¼-mile: 13.3 sec @ 105 mph
    Top speed (governor limited): 128 mph
    Braking, 70-0 mph: 156 ft
    Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.92 g

    For the most part, a lot of C7 A6/A7 are hitting those times with a Stage 1 tune (some a bit faster), haven't read up on a stock one doing that.

    Are C/D numbers off? or is the C7.5 faster?

    Maybe we need 0-60 and 1/4 mile thread for C7/7.5 A6/7 thread, just like the 4.0 T folks

    motor trend;

    As we reported in our First Drive of the Euro-spec A6, Audi tweaked the 3.0-liter, supercharged V-6 with revised cylinder heads, chain drivers, and heat management systems. And thanks to a new electromagnetic clutch, the supercharger can now be deactivated when it’s not needed.

    As for power, the 2016 A6 and A7 now make 333 hp, 13 more than the 2015 model year. Torque stays the same at 325 lb-ft. Does that boost in power result in quicker straight-line performance? Not really. Both the 2016 A6 and A7 ran to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and completed the quarter mile in 13.3 seconds, which is nearly identical to the pre-refreshed models. We’ve tested the pre-refreshed A6 and A7 on multiple occasions, the best 0-60 mph times being 4.6 seconds for both cars. (The slowest time was 5.3 seconds for one of the A7s.)

    I agree - Nov 19, planning on going to Fontana Street Legals; I'll report back my stock results.

    That could be 1 entry
