    you pull the button out of the gear knob, stick something in-between the knob and the button to have it stay in place, then pull everything up. it'll probably take you 10mins max.

    Agree on the S8 version, but I doubt it's doable:-)

    I have a block on eBay at work but note, if the button moves from the side to the front or vice-versa, the you need to the the "heat & twist" mod. I swapped from the C7 to the C7.5 knob and it required this mod.
    Do it right, or don't bother.
