Stage 1 is good for 75-90whp and 45-60wtq, but these tune are just for the Simos 8.4 and 8.5 cars. So most 2016 and newer A6 3.0Ts will be Simos 16 and there is no tune for them anywhere.

The A6/A7 OEM file versions from the latest ECU software update are ready to go for almost every box code and the rest should be here any time.

And remember to IDENTIFY your ECU every time you get your car back from the dealer and send me a pic to see if they performed a software update and changed the box code or version.

If someone uses the EPL system, could they record the OEM parameters, go to the dealer, get an emissions recall performed and then come home and reinstall the original OEM tune?

We put your exact OEM file and software version on your server before you even flash the tuned file so you can flash back to the correct version at any time.

And everyone remember that every time you get your car back from the deal to Identify the ECU and send in a pic to make sure that they did not perform a software update. I have had many customers where the dealer did not say anything, but did perform a software update.

    Dual Pulley option:
Is this programmed with 93 octane or only e85?
Does this cause heating issues with our stock system?

We have dual pulley 91, 93, E85, 100 and 104 for most box codes ready to go and can adopt them to your car's box code it no time at all. You do not have to have a cooling upgrade with dual pulley, but they car's performance will take advantage of it. If the car is just driven on the street and you want to have the extra power when you want it you can hold off on cooling. But if you live in a hot environment or are going to be taking the car to the track you will want the cooling.

I live next door in NYC. What would be your opinion on the cooling upgrade. We get hot summers. It's my Daily driver.

The cooling upgrades are never a bad idea at all. They all help. Especially if you will be going to the track at all. If it is just a daily driver you can hold off on the cooler upgrade until you feel it is necessary.

This is very true. I've been running dual pulley over a year on stock cooling with no issues daily driving wise. It even holds up for occasional track use.

Thanks for your feedback. Are you on E85 or pump gas?

    Thanks for the response.
Technically both. I switch between all 3 files once in a while, but mostly run e85 on either the 100 Oct or e85 file.

Is it possible to get a break down of performance for each stage?

    Particularly 0-60 for stage 1, 2, dual, e85

    Same for 1/4 mile.

That would greatly help me decide on how to go.

    Thanks!

Sorry I do not have 0-60 times. It is very subjective to temp, wheel/tire combo, traction, etc. That car posted above is a Q5 with headers, a large dual pulley set up with AMS Boost Cooler and I think that run was on 104, but he normally runs E85 and a heavily modified car and tune. Needless to say all of the tunes are a great bit faster than stock. What mods you pair with the car and with the tune will affect results greatly.

How long is the install time for the 3.0T stage 1 tune?

I know that ignition has to be on with the engine off. Should I hook up a battery charger first or is it a short duration?

It is only 5 mins to install the flash. I recommend shutting off the radio and HVAC. If you have a battery charger go ahead and hook it up it will not hurt anything.
