    i put Akebono Euro Premium ceramic pads on both the previous A6 and now the A7... highly recommend..no noise, no dust!

    I also love my Akebonos for the street. For rotors, Adams are nice if you want the look. Otherwise StopTech. OEM is always a safe bet but if your friend were on a budget, Zimmerman are decent.

    I've paired the pads with stock rotors, as well as the Centric high carbon avail at Tire Rack and Amazon. Could not differentiate between the two and both can be had at a discount online.
