    Will dual pulley take the smile off this mustang owners face?

    had some fun with a 2015 GT mustang he said mods were an h pipe and catback and my car is stock besides intake and it didn't help that I had one passenger that weighed 250 and the mustang had none,and by 3rd gear had a bus length on me will a dual pulley with 183 crank be even or will it pull on it, wanted some opinions to see what u guys think

    Ouch. But yea, dual pulley will take care of him. I dont even waste my time/gas with those cars anymore unless they have some money they want to lose!

    Ya ouch is rite is giac dual pulley available I kno a few are running it but thought it was just a select few

    I'm one of those few . You can't see my sig on tatapalk

    Just wait for the final tune to come out. You can start prepping now by getting the regular giac stage 2, upgraded cooling, and a larger crank. Then just flash to the new file when it's ready.

    True ya it will def be a start I kno ur enjoying the extra powerI also have a buddy with a gt stage 3 roush kit supposedly with 670 HP do you think 194 crank would keep up

    Don't know much about the roush kits. I did beat a 2013 roush 5.0, had a blower on it.. Owner didn't give me much info at the next light other than it being a roush car with some roush decals on the car.. We did a 30-120 roll and it was pretty close though. He was hanging near my bumper.
    That was when I was on the 194 and 100 octane apr/CW combo on the stock TCU.

    I beat a 6xx 09 Shelby gt500 with the 179mm crank on apr as well so you should give him a good run with the 194 on giacs race file. Giacs tune is very good for roll racing. Their timing curve is set to kill from 4K onward, making it great for roll racing. 40 roll in 2nd is my favorite. That's your best best imo if he doesn't give you a dig

    At my local track newer GT's with just exhaust mods trap about 108-110. I consistently trap 6-8mph more than them. On street tires they don't 60ft well either. Car is APR stage 2 on 93 map. I drove a stock 2015 S4 a couple weeks ago and it felt painfully slow by comparison. Really should have come with stage 2 or at least stage 1 power from the factory IMO. GT's with light mods shouldn't pose much of a problem, but their potential is far greater than the S4's potential at this point so pick your battles carefully.

    I have a buddy with a 5.0 As well...I'm APR Stage 2 and TCU...never gone at it from a dig,but from 40 Rolls, he dissapears in an instant. He's got a bit more work on his car though....says he's putting down about 425WHP...idk what mine makes,but it's definitely not enough. Hoping the new "Ultracharger" thing delivers....since essentially it has a dual pulley setup aswell

    yep! Come out to one of the Audi meets at Bradenton Motorsports (usually every Thursday depending on the tracks schedule since it's getting cooler outside). a Dual Pulley car running a race/E85 file will put bus lengths on a bolt-on 5.0 in the 1/4mile, even on a 179mm crank. A 194mm is simply overkill if all you want to do is beat a bolt-on 5.0

    Yep, the file is essentially "production" ready at WOT, just a few more tables to finalize for part-throttle drivability. Purchase your items now to prep for it, it will be ready soon

    Since it's "chillier" now in the Tampa Bay, FL area, the 194mm's heat is easier to manage. jfootlong24, PM me if you want to meet up next Weds (Nov 2nd) if you would like to get a feel for the new GIAC file, I'll be in the Brandon area for work overnight and can meet up sometime after 9pm. I think our ASOT group is going to the track next Thursday (Nov 3rd) evening too (6pm-11pm).

    You're running from an awful spot, run from a dig or a better rpm and the outcome will be much different. Sounds like he's a m6 too so from a roll you're only handicapping yourself more.

    I think that mustang had more than just an exhaust, it was moving way too fast.

    Pretty sure if you have a Stage II anything you should decimate Mustang GT's. I was anyway last time I went, and kept getting faster and faster as the night went on, and none of the 5-6 were even close. It was a bit more of a cold night so maybe tires weren't getting up enough.

    Don't know much about the roush kits. I did beat a 2013 roush 5.0, had a blower on it.. Owner didn't give me much info at the next light other than it being a roush car with some roush decals on the car.. We did a 30-120 roll and it was pretty close though. He was hanging near my bumper.
    That was when I was on the 194 and 100 octane apr/CW combo on the stock TCU.

    I beat a 6xx 09 Shelby gt500 with the 179mm crank on apr as well so you should give him a good run with the 194 on giacs race file. Giacs tune is very good for roll racing. Their timing curve is set to kill from 4K onward, making it great for roll racing. 40 roll in 2nd is my favorite. That's your best best imo if he doesn't give you a dig


    same scenario. 5.0 procharged. kept reving at a light so people could hear bpv. I pulled up next to him at 40mph. He looked over and smiled and took off. I hit second and then end of 3rd I had him by a fender. He then let off and would not pull back up next to me then turned off at the next light. Some one was mad. Best part about these cars is most never see it coming until your a bus out from them. Then all the ricer excuses start. If they will pull back up next to you. Most dip out to not feel embarrassed.

    Stg 2 would let you beat up on stock Coyotes but once they start adding you will need a DP and even then at some point that won't be enough.

    I'd love to see a video of a DP S4 versus a Stg 2 S4 from a roll to see what the gap is. Somebody needs to make that happen.

    I'd like to see this too but from a slow roll (close to idle in first gear) to see the difference without launch control being a factor. Also would like to see 2nd gear, 1000rpm, go!

    I went with a friend in a new mustang GT from 20-120 about 6 times. We were DEAD EVEN every time.

    Friend has 2016 5.0. Did a series of pulls and was ahead of him on all. Not by a ton. But ahead. That's on stage II chipwerke software. Dual pulley would be a blow out.
