Records obtaining help!!

Hello b6 owners,
I bought my a4 a couple months ago on Craigslist and it came with no previous service records. Since I am the 3rd owner and not the original owner when I called my local dealer and asked for records they could not give them to me because of this. I was wondering if any techs that work for Audi or have another way I can get records.

I think service records are dealership to dealership and who knows if it has ever gone back to the dealership for service. Some service centers report on carfax and others do not. So chances are its gonna be a long shot at getting those. Kinda what you get when you buy a used car.
