My 2005 b7 A4 that I just bought came with everything but the bluetooth option. I'm looking to add it.

Isn't the stock Bluetooth setup on these junk?

I personally just add an Aux port to my stock unit and put a Bluetooth receiver in. Best $20 bucks I've spend on the car.

MFSW + OEM modules with a color DIS is pretty good functionality for outdated tech.

For the cost, your way works. There's plenty of ways to add Bluetooth capabilities without the OEM module.

OP, if you're looking for audio streaming for music on top of phone calls, then you'll need other hardware. Just an FYI.
