Going to buy an Avant - questions

I'm thinking of buying a nice used avant, but I have a few questions since I'm new to Audi. Looking at pre-face (since money) and 2.0TDI with automatic because those are the most common ones in Norway.

S-line: If I get the s-line package, what kind of suspension will it be? I heard that even with 2x sline (inside and outside) you can also get the car with a sport suspension, different from s-line suspension. I have talked to a couple of dealers that are going to send me a full Audi equipment list to see if it is listed there, since I was not able to find them using a vin decoder. Also saw a couple of s-line models had air suspension.

MMI and audio: How can I see the different MMI setups for these cars? I saw some had bluetooth for music streaming with phone, but was this really standard? I have a 12 inch sub and mono amplifier laying around, is it hard to install this into the systems? Seing you can't get an aftermarket 2-din player in these cars...

Transmission: How to tell if the transmission is tiptronic/multitronic? Was these ment to be serviced every so often?

Headlights: I love the looks on the facelifted c6 with the LEDs. Any way to get these on the pre-face ones without hours of work or buying new headlights?

Hope to get some answers, thanks!

Going to buy an Avant - questions

Zelly, first off, welcome to the forum. There is a great group of individuals here and are always willing to help.
    As for your questions:
The Avant you are looking at should be a tiptronic transmission if it is a Quattro.
In the pre-facelift cars, SLine is more of a cosmetic package (trim bits, different bumper). The suspension, as you have already discovered, can vary depending on how it was spec'd from the factory. If you have access to the car, look in the spare tire well. There should be a sticker that gives all info about the specific car.
MMI- Pre-facelift cars would have had either 2G high or 3G MMI. Easiest way to tell is by the center display (between the tach and speedo); if the screen is red, then it's 2G high; color is 3G. Music steaming from the phone via Bluetooth came into play on the 3G high MMI. If the car you are looking at has the AMI unit (iPod plug in the glovebox) then you can get a Bluetooth dongle (Tune2Air) to be able to stream from the phone.
Since the MMI is the complete interface with the car, adding aftermarket stereo is not really possible. There are people that have added a sub and amp to the system to get better sound but that's about it.
Face lifted headlights are not possible on the prefacelift cars without new headlights (and new control modules for OEM functionality).

Thanks for the answers! I will get a FWD since quattro is a bit expensive for me at the moment. It is hard to find pictures of the s-line suspension vs sport suspension beside eachother, to compare the height of the cars. Can I just buy some s-line or aftermarket springs and put on the sport suspension car, and that will make them the same in height?

I don't have access to the cars I'm looking at, so I am only talking to the dealers and have to buy the car "unseen". Does all 3G MMI have the ipod integration? The Tune2Air looks like a great way to get mobile streaming via bluetooth, so I probably have to buy a car with 3G MMI if this is the only solution then. I only want to add a sub and amp, to get more deep bass and keep the stock system. On the pre-face models, is the rear bumper same on s-line package and non- sline?

A lot of questions from me now :D
