At 1/4 throttle my car will SURGE then calm down. Thoughts? could this be a slipping pulley belt? How does the tensioner on our pulleys work? Is it manual or pretension?

Slipping belt wouldn't make the car surge at 1/4 throttle, quite the opposite.

Do you have DSG tune? Does it only do it when the engine is warm or cold? All the time?

Surging can be an effect of a fuel pump going bad, high or low pressure one. Any codes?

I have the DSG Tune, yes.
Happens mostly in Auto/Dynamic
Warm (I just got stage 2 this summer)
No codes.

Mine does the exact same thing. Doesn’t matter what gear. I have a p3 gauge and monitor throttle position when it happens. I’ll be at 10-15% throttle and when I just hit that point, the throttle spikes anywhere from 50-80%

I am having this issue too. Confirmed with logs that throttle is jumping to full open at like 2200 to 2400 with about half pedal travel. I tried clearing adaptations with no luck. Also tried the DSG flash but no difference.
Which file do you both have? Mine is the Forge pulley file.

I checked to see if it’s in the same location but cannot access module 44 with vcds
