Transmission swap on my A4?

I just spent every penny i have been saving on my A4 and I love it. Although i found one i like, there wasnt many options where i live and i wasnt able to travel very far to look at many. The only problem i have with the car is the more i drive it the more i wish it was manual. So my question is what would it take money wise (or if its even worth it) to make the switch from automatic to manual. We could probably do the work in my auto class so im more wondering about the parts cost. I know there are quite a few threads on this already but they have all kinds of different answers so im just looking for more opinions. Thanks!

Not worth it. You are better off just getting a different car. Ride it out or buy a Manual A4. You will spend way too much before you get it to pair right.
