Found out no unlock button on rear doors

So I pick my son up from the bus stop one day while putting his school bag in the truck, he gets in rear on the right side and my daughter who is in the rear as well locks the door.

So I tried to open my door and boom no open. Ok so I am telling my son to unlock the door and nothing is happening, since in the rear there is only a lock button.

I have the remote in my pocket and think ok press the unlock, nothing happens.

So now panic starting to sent in, my son climbs up front and unlocks the door.

I guess I would have eventually figured out that I could have used the key to open the door.

    Scary moment.

I guess I will have to turn the child safety locks off on the rear doors.

i know you can set it to unlock the front and back when using the keyless entry. im alone 80% of the time, so i just have mine set to unlock the fronts. ?, so even when you press the unlock button 2 times on the key fob, it wont open the rear doors if the child safety feature is activated?

Isn't the interior door handle always active?

Pulling it should unlock the door.

Same thing happened to me the other day! My daughter presses the lock button on the door. I had the remote in my pocket. Went to reach for my door handle, and it was locked.

I used the remote to unlock, and only the rear doors unlock. I hit lock, then unlock again on the remote. Same thing. Driver's side door locked. Rear doors unlocked.

She had to climb to the front seat and open the door for me.

What happened when she tried to pull on the handle? Did it not open at all?

Mine did not.. child locks were on so the handles don't work. I left them on since I had my dogs in the car last.

It was scary feeling of not being able to get into the car.
