Sorry for the late response! We actually are the sole distributor of these new control arms. We've had them in house for quite some time and have done long term testing on our own personal cars before offering them to our walk in customers as well as our online customers.

We have found them to be as good, if not better than SPC arms. They are made of the same materials as the SPC, but the LYKT arms taper at the ball joint allowing for more camber and caster adjustment.

On top of that they come in at a lower price point! Best of both worlds!

Review- “LYKT Adjustable Control Arm B8/C7/8R Street” from EUROCODE Tuning

I've actually just finished my full review for these and they are as awesome as Eurocode says they are, first hand experience. Please see my review below and reach out to me if you have any questions about my experience with them!

    PART- https://www.ecodetuning.com/lykt-adj...category_id=11

    Reason for Purchase:

Just a quick backstory for the reason of my purchase, I had lowered my vehicle a year back and realized my camber was off only after I ruined my new set of tires 6 months in. The car drove straight and from the outside, the tires looked new, it was only once the car was on the lift you could see the inner part of the tires getting eaten quickly.

    Product Research:

I did my research for some adjustable control arms I could purchase to correct my camber issue and only found one or two aftermarket brands that people seemed to use on their S4s and 5s. The most commonly sold brand, SPC, was the direction I was headed until I noticed Eurocode had released a new set of control arms by LYKT. The price was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the SPC branded ones, and that instantly made me worry about the quality of the part. I am a FIRM believer in the saying, “You get what you pay for”, but with such a big difference in price and a very limited market, I started my research on this LYKT brand. The construction material of the LYKT is the same as the SPC arms (6061-T6 forged aluminum). Reviewing their website I noticed this was a Cali based small business that ONLY makes and specializes in wheel and alignment parts. This was a huge plus for me. Small businesses are great due to the typically solid customer service you get, and the limited parts selection was a plus to me as well since this meant they focus 100% of their work and design in the type of part I was buying. I wanted to finalize my decision by looking over part or business reviews. Being that this specific item was fairly new, I couldn’t find any reviews (which is why I decided to post my own). The businesses social sites have reviews and they were overwhelmingly positive. Finally I decided to call Eurocode tuning to ask them for their personal opinion on these new control arms. The moment they told me that they run these LYKT arms in their own Audi’s, I was sold. Parts that are good to Eurocode and survive their daily driving and testing would be more than good enough for me so I pulled the trigger and placed my order.

    Installation:

Once the parts came in, I took them out of the box to inspect them for any damages before having them installed. Just holding and looking at the part in my hand, I could tell that they were an extremely solid and study part, and in comparison to the Audi stock arms, much thicker. I scheduled for the install and alignment later that day. Once install was completed, I had a word with the mechanic to confirm and issues he may have experienced with the install. Fortunately all was well on the first try, and they were plug and play as directed. No modifications needed. Alignment went smooth as well, although be sure to take it someplace that is experienced in special alignments including camber and caster adjustments. Yes, the alignment is standard in terms of the machine they use, but that’s about it. It requires a lot of trial and error with every adjustment that is made to get it just right so be patient and expect it to take at least half a day. Of course this was just my personal experience and every shop will have different times and expectations as you already know.

    Road Test:

I’ve driven with the parts installed for about 1-2K miles now and everything has been working as expected. The front end feels a touch more direct and the ride quality over OEM hasn’t changed. It’s unbelievable how much more planted the car feels now simply due to the fact that my tires are fully planted to the concrete with full contact, I must have gotten used to it when I had the car lowered and didn’t realize this until now. I also haven’t had any issues so far with the camber adjustments coming undone from bumpy roads like I’ve heard has happened with some of the SPC arms. I live in Houston where the roads and potholes are straight from hell and so far so good. If anyone requests, I can post a long term follow up review after 6-8K miles with these. I drive a lot so it wouldn’t be far out.

    Conclusion/Final Words:

These LYKT arms have done exactly what I needed them too, adjust my camber for a properly aligned ride. They’ve done so at a much lower cost than competitors while still providing you with top notch quality and reliability. I would recommend these to any Audi owners out there without hesitation and would definitely purchase from this brand and Eurocode again.

thanks, cant find a review on the motorsport version anywhere. What is the normal life on the motorsport version before they begin to "make noise" versus the street version? I don't track this car but do ~18k/mi per year.
How about you throw in free shipping and I'll be the ginnea pig for these and write a thorough review here?

There are a lot of factors that go into the wear of this kind of an product. From ride height to road conditions, to driving habits. It's impossible to give a set mileage, kind of like asking how long a clutch will last.

I have been running these for probably a year and half now (street version). Had the SPC control arms (spherical) installed for years and they eventually started to make some minor noises so swapped them for these. My car is slammed and I have had no issue or noises so far. Actually about to get some new rubber so will be doing another alignment/adjustment on them soon. Done plenty of hard driving and a few track days and these are def up to par if not better than the SPC arms. No complaints here
