How hard/spiritedly do you drive your car?

as the title states, how hard do you drive your A3/S3 on a daily basis. ever since I got my S3 I cant not find reasons to not smash the peddle every time I drive the car. Im coming from 10' S4 and I never drove it this hard ( S3 just has that hoonigan feel and it brings it out in me ). Makes me regret it as I live up in the Adirondacks with beautiful scenic windy roads with long straights. But I have pushed this car pretty hard and i'm quite impressed, but sometimes do feel guilty for pounding on her so hard.

Just like to hear if every time you guys step in your car, are you guys red-lining it ? ( like me lol ) feel welcome to digress on your thoughts of the cars driving characteristics compared to others !

I don't drive it hard every time I go out, but I'd at least a few times a week I find myself getting that driving thrill whether it be fast cornering or just acceleration. I almost never redline it, usually keeping it below 5500.
I wouldn't feel guilty unless you're always redlining it and really abusing the engine. I don't think spirited driving often should do any damage to anything, as long as you use common sense. It's a really fun car, and it's good to hear that people are putting that S badge to use!

I've always wondered by people feel guilty for running cars to redline. These cars are built to handle it - the engine is not going to explode.

I have a short commute, but once the oil is warm I always find an excuse to at least run to redline in 2nd.

I think the S4 driver in us trained us to just go BWAHHHHHH at every stretch of road possible while the S3 driver in us realizes these things are go karts.

I agree. The redline RPM set in the car is well below what the car is designed to withstand.

im well aware of the car being able to handle it, so thats not for debate at all.. its just the common thought and normal guilt that runs in the back of my head I guess !

Haha I can relate. I drive my car super hard. They do in fact step out sideways if you hit the gas at the right moment and have traction control off. I like smelling the rubber after abusing the super sports. I have a huge guilt once the fun is over but I do a quick inspection and shut it off after a min or 2 of idling. Then I get over it. If anything that makes me have regrets its the lil rock chips on the bumper/hood.

I drive mine so hard I've been getting 16 MPG on average lately. It's a lease, has AudiCare, and my next ride is an RS3. I literally couldn't care less about how hard I drive it right now, especially with no "warranty" mods on it.

I drive my A3 pretty good, at 26,000 miles and counting, I'm going to ride this car till gets to 100,000 miles or more.

I wanted an RS3 at one point, but I'm kind of done buying new and paying expensive rates for driving new.

My daily commute is 3.5 miles. I've done some quick pulls leaving work/home from a rolling start. I've never used LC, don't know if I ever will...

I'm a spirited driver on twisty roads, 90% of the time I'm a conservative driver.

If I end up buying the new RS3 in a few years, my foot may get a little heavier...

I live in ft lauderdale, so the only cornering i get to do is off or on ramps really. But I drive the shit out of the car, its stock right now so if anything happens its under warranty and its a lease. Everyonce and a while I see what sort of mileage i can get on a tank. Since the weather finally started cooling down and the engine is actually making the 292 hp i'm rather enjoying it. At least until i say screw it and get the jb1 or eurodyne 1.5

@ w3rks- you should let the car warm up before giving it some stick

I always let the car reach driving/operating temps before boosting.
