It's a fairly expensive piece for something that provides relative, albeit incremental improvements in steering and overall handling. Price-vs-performance gain is not quite as favorable as are most of your other products.

Just saying, reward those who support your products!

As for why no disco, more than likely their cost producing it vs asking price is a small enough difference that they simply aren't profiting in the same way say, the cost to produce sway bars vs selling price. Pretty sure that's a higher margin vs the ALU.

I was interested in the differential mount and transmission mount inserts, but even on sale it was only about $5 less than ECS regular price for all the same components. If there was free shipping on these parts it would be worth it to me!

Our products are CNC'd from a single block of aluminum. ECS makes their products from cheap urethane, with a small metal back plate. It would literally cost $3-$4 to produce that product, yet it is just as expensive as ours.

Most members on here would generally agree that the ALU is a well made, quality product. That said, in terms of what it yields in terms of improved chassis stability, many of us feel that what it translates to the overall driving experience in relation to cost makes it less likely for many to pull the trigger. Often, whenever a used one pops up, they're gobbled up pretty quick so the relative demand is there. Hard to compare but, say given a choice between say a new tune, or a set of entry level Coilovers, or your sway bar set, or deposit towards new wheels/tires, etc.. 8/9 out of 10 times most would more than likely pick any of the above mentioned prior to getting the ALU.
It's not to bang on it. I've been wanting one for some time but can't reconcile the price for what it delivers in return. It's more of a luxury item imho as opposed to an essential, must-have mod. So for a father of 5 year old twins with a mortgage living in the high-priced Bay Area, one has to pick ones spots.

Just my 2 cents.

I fully understand that logic for a first mod/mods, but once you've completed those mods, what else to save for but the Alu Kreuz!

The cost of taking one of our solid aluminum blanks all the way to a final Alu Kreuz product is quite expensive. You hit the nail on the head when you previously stated...

We strive to offer you all the best quality products at the best prices we can. When it comes to the Alu Kreuz there just isn't as much wiggle room as some other products. That doesn't mean it will never be discounted, because it has been a few time before. Where were you all in March this year? We heard you all out and had the Alu Kreuz discounted $25 + free shipping. With an average ship cost of $25 you were coming in at over $100 in savings from our competitors.

I definitely dropped the ball on that sale. Then again, that approx 7% savings is awash if you live in California. Yup, you guessed it, CA State Sales tax!
Not to belabor this, but I personally feel that if I'm dropping that much coin on an Ellective part, it needs to be something that I can't live without. They doesn't mean it's not on my wish list. As a consumer, it's drilled into us to look for the best deal possible. We've also been collectively spoiled with online retail. We've grown accustom to free shipping and a minimum of 10%-20% across the retail board. Otherwise, it's simply glanced over.
