Mobile Screen Mirroring To AMI Screen 3g

Hi all...
As I don't have 'Audi Connect' in my car I wanted 'Screen Mirroring' from my mobile/tablet on my MMI screen... So after a little bit of digging about I set about buying the following!

All connected in this order to the AMI port... I'm pleased to say it worked great!
Having 'Video in motion' activated will make this feature must more usable! Sound quality was great and so was the picture quality when the phone was in 'Landscape' mode.
Well chuffed and it only cost around £40 (Not including the phone/tablet)

Maybe i'm missing something, but any settings or coding required in the MMI? In what source you checking the mirrored stuff of the mobile?
Just wondering what the difference is between this combo of plugs and just plain mini usb to AMI plug :).
Hope you can share more details as it sounds interesting.

Hi there, Firstly there is no coding required.. Least not on mines anyway! Source comes up as Aux Video in the source menu. Using a USB to AMI only gives you sound and no picture I'm afraid. :)
